Love Life Prayer Walk Code of Conduct

 

All participating with Love Life are required to operate under this Code of Conduct.

 

Love Life exists to stand for truth and intercede for the unborn through prayer.  As we walk and pray, may the love of Christ Jesus be evident in our countenance, attitude, and interaction with one another.

We ask you not to engage with anyone at the abortion center. If you prefer more interaction and believe that is what you’re called to, you can receive proper training through one of our partnering ministries. 

 

Love Life prohibits the possession or use of firearms or weapons except as state and local law allows.

 

PRAYER

We are to glorify God in every way. Through our prayers, we believe love will overwhelm death in our city. Our role is simple - to stand in the gap and be a voice for the voiceless, as we cover our city in prayer.

 

TRUTH

We are here to stand for truth. Through our intercession, we believe the truth of God’s word will be released in our city; the truth that every unborn child is a life marked with an extraordinary future.

Confidentiality Agreement
I. Purpose.
The purpose of this Confidentiality Agreement is to protect the identity and privacy of our participants. Love Life Staff and Volunteers encounter personal and sensitive information about program participants. This is particularly true when assisting with the Mentor and Orphan Care ministries. Therefore, it is very important to refrain from disclosing any information to third parties about our participants. 


II. Confidential Information.
Confidential participant information should never be discussed in the presence of third parties, except under the terms outlined below. Any files and/or documents containing confidential information should never be shared or released to third parties, except under the terms outlined below. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, the following: 


1. Identifying information about the participant, including name, address or phone number; 

2. Information relating to the participant’s family; 

4. Information about the abuse, trauma, and/or persecution experienced by the participant; or 

5. Any other information that would identify the participant or potentially place the participant and/or family members at risk. 


III. Terms.
By signing this Confidentiality Agreement, you agree to the highest ethical standards and to abide by the following provisions: 


1. All communications between Love Life’s staff, volunteers, and participants are confidential. 

2. The volunteer shall not disclose confidential information to a third party without the client’s express consent to release such information. 

3. The staff or volunteer shall not disclose confidential information to a third party without Love Life’s knowledge and consent. 

4. I understand that as a volunteer, I have a duty to keep participant information confidential throughout my term as a volunteer as well as after my employment or volunteer status ends. 

5. I understand that my failure to abide by the terms of this Confidentiality Agreement may result in the termination of my participation as a volunteer at Love Life.

In order to participate as a Love Life volunteer, you must consent to a background check required by Love Life USA, and upon completion of this application agree to submit my background screening application (fee of $12.00 required by applicant).  The background screening application will be emailed to you separately.
